The pain continues for Tori Stafford’s family Monday as they head to Toronto to be present as Michael Rafferty, Tori’s killer, tries to get the province to pay for a lawyer so he can appeal his murder conviction.
I talked to Tori’s grandmother Doreen Graichen on Sunday and she will be going. She is bloody mad and doesn’t want another penny of taxpayers’ money spent on this guy.
It is maddening but does should the province cough up the money so that he can appeal?
Is an appeal not his right?
