Last Canadian team in NHL playoffs still standing

Ottawa has promised a leave-it-all-on-the-ice performance Friday night in its game against Pittsburgh.

Would be great to see Ottawa win as it is the last Canuck team still in the hunt.

Plus, Ottawa is my son’s favourite team.

Also nice to see the Wings doing so well against Chicago. Go get ’em.

The New York Rangers beat Boston to hang on in that series. Really hard for me to cheer for New York because of bombastic coach John Tortorella.  He needs to calm down or he’s going to end up in ill health.

Was it a smart move to bench Brad Richards, who makes $12 million a season, in last night’s winning effort?

They won, so you be the judge.
