Pharmaceuticals in our London drinking water

I have recently been hired as a correspondent for a new media outlet that looks at development issues around the globe and shines a spotlight on the environment, food security, human rights, healthcare and more.

Here is a link to a story I did about our Great Lakes water and the pharmaceuticals found there.  London environmentalist and geneticist Joseph Cummins has raised the alarm. His drinking water source from Lake Erie has traces of erythromycin in it and he is allergic to this antibiotic.

What is also disturbing is that the water sources were kept secret. Cummins had to push to get his water tested after he saw the initial Ministry of the Environment report.

Have a read and let me know if you have any questions or comments.
