Mitt Romney makes strides but can’t shake Santorum

Looks like the battle for the Republican nomination is going to drag out.

For those fascinated by politics, this is a good thing because the fight will go to the wire.

For others, it was likely hoped a clear candidate would come out of Super Tuesday and the mudslinging and and analysis ad naseum would stop. Romney (shown above) won the most states but Santorum picked up a few, too.

I think Romney has the best chance to beat Obama. He’s also got cred when it comes to the economy because of his business background.

So what do others see in Santorum that is keeping him afloat?

And Gingrich won a state so he’s still clinging to the life vessel.

  1. GOP candidates speak profusely on Afghanistan, Israel, Iran, even Greece, but all just utter minimal petty after-thoughts or add a footnote alluding to U.S. relationship to Canada. Do most American even care? Not surprising that most Americans have little knowledge or care about any Canadian issue or concern.

    some examples:

Mitt Romney: ‘I’ll Get Us That Oil From Canada That We Deserve’
Newt Gingrich to Canada: Forget China, bank on Republicans

  5. KR, you may find SPJ’s website very helpful: [including (Training) tab] where you will see online training modules, Reporter’s Toolbox, Seminars and many other resources

Also, spend some time at website to see SBJ’s International Journalism Committe blog

  6. Perhaps Ms Rumleski thinks she can upgrade her journalistic
skills as necessarily in a Canadian context – and for domestic
consumption. She may already belong to a professional
    writers association.
=What are the ‘Southams’, the fellowships up to these days ?
NNAs in now – what’s their electronic component award?

  7. Journalists without Borders; Doctors without Borders…etc…to counter some examples above of Ignorance and Small Mindedness without Borders

  8. @OH Please, you may enjoy spending some time at the Wikipedia site before you decide to come to this site (or other sites) so as to ameliorate your understanding of any number of topics and issues…starting with “Journalism” “Blog” or any other topic for which you wish to articulate a position.
